SEE IT CHANGE

This is a site a site-specific installation SEE IT CHANGE.
Through this project, I try to use the print image and public space
linked Hong Kong and Melbourne together.

I like nature and it is beautiful.

I took this tree shadow image few years ago at Lei Yue Mun,
Hong kong. Lei Yue Mun is a short channel in Hong Kong,
between Junk Bay and Victoria Harbour, separating Kowloon
and Hong Kong Island. The channel is an important passage
in the South China Sea. It is the east gate of Victoria Harbour.

The tree is growing up nearby the seaside, it is very strong and
symbolizes the full of vitality.

When I chose the corridor behind the RMIT Art in Public Space
department, building 50. There is is a quiet place and full of the
old building texture. The old buildings are all built by the red
stone, it seems take me back into the past

I used the Chalk drawing the tree shadow image on the old
glass wall, it like a realistic street paintings.

The idea is thought the print image and drawing to contact
with two different place Hong Kong and Melbourne as well as
two different timing past and now.

Medium: Chalk drawing on glass wall
